You can follow along to this video and perform your own keyword research using the exact method that I use. Creating a spreadsheet to keep all your keyword phrases and monthly search volume is optional but recommended.
Please do not take any monthly search numbers for granted, the Google Keyword tool and many other just give you estimations on the search traffic for any given keyword phrase.
In fact, most keyword tools pull data from Google, so why not just use Google for doing keyword research.
