In this backlinking tutorial, I show you how to build high quality backlinks using AffiloTools, step-by-step:
1. Open AffiloTools, and click on ‘Links’ in the sidebar. Here, you can search for backlink opportunities on the internet relevant to any keyword. In addition, you can search for different type of linking opportunities. These include blog comments, guest posts, resources, directories, article directories and sponsorship links.
2. Tick the type of link you would like to search for. In this tutorial, I chose blog comments because they are the fastest backlinks to create.
3. Type in a keyword in the search box relevant to your website. My website, Enlightenment Gateway, is a self-help website. I thus chose to search for links using the keyword, ‘meditation techniques’. After this, click the ‘FIND LINKS’ button.
4. Let the backlinks load. When they do, filter then by Page Authority. This is a metric created by Moz as a replacement for PageRank, because Google updates PR irregularly (about once every 4-12 months). Click on ‘PA’ twice to filter the results by PA in descending order, from highest PA to lowest PA.
5. Click on a link. It will take you through to a blog post. You can then leave a comment on the page, and include a link back to your website in it. TIP: when creating your link, choose an anchor text that is more likely to get accepted. I recommend you use your page URL or your website title as the anchor text to increase your chances of getting it approved.
6. Keep doing this for all of the other links AffiloTools finds. Look for high quality backlinks that have both a DA (Domain Authority) of 20+ and a PA of 20+.
