Liverpool have been handed a quadruple boost ahead of their huge Premier League clash with Chelsea at Anfield. Alisson Becker, Fabinho and Ben Davies all appeared to take a full part in today’s training session while Diogo Jota appeared to train on his own.
Illness delayed Jota’s return from injury, meaning the forward missed the 2-0 win at Sheffield United. Goalkeeper Alisson was also absent from the match, on compassionate grounds, with third-choice Adrian stepping in and keeping a clean sheet, while Davies was ruled out with a knock. Fabinho has not played since February 7.
Second-choice goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher appears to still be missing, but the rest of the players who were expected to be present at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby today, including Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, appeared to train without a hitch.
