The first thing you can do to get more backlinks is use HARO, to be featured in the press more. This can get your name onto some big name websites and publications.
The next thing you can do to get more backlinks is guest blog on other websites in your industry. I find it’s best if you guest blog on complementary websites – so as a designer, I’ll blog on social media manager and copywriter websites.
Lastly, you could be listed in some directories. This could be local directories like your chamber of commerce, or it could be online communities! These do usually require a membership fee though.
